Tattoo wings have become a very popular design to have tattooed. The reason may be because of the beauty that wings portray, possibly the religious meanings behind them or it might just be because they look so cool. Whatever the reason, wings are one of the most extraordinary designs that can be had.

There are many ways to wear your tattooed wings and lots of design options to choose from. Here are some suggestions for some additions to your wings:

    * Heart
    * Cross
    * Star
    * Skull
    * Crown

There are also other kinds of wings to consider:

    * Angel
    * Fairy

    * Eagle or any kind of bird
    * Pegasus

Most of the time wings are on the back and they can range from large full back wings to little tiny ones, but there are many other places that wings can be seen:

    * Leg
    * Lower back
    * Shoulder
    * Arm
    * Foot
    * Stomach

How much color and detail you want in your wings will also play a part in the final result. You can get intricately detailed wings in several colors or just simple one colored wings. This is such a versatile design that can be worn in so many different ways that the possibilities are endless. If you are thinking about getting tattoo wings, look at several different images and drawings so that you can get a good idea of what you like and don't like. It always pays off in the end to take your time when searching for a great tattoo. Sometimes if you make a hasty decision you will regret it later or see something you like better.

Tribal Skull Tattoo Designs

Tribal Skull Tattoo Designs

A lot of people gaze at tattoos as a way to show off, become rugged, or just make a statement. Many of them are trying to express their feelings, lifestyle, or past. Over the years, tattoos have evolved into many unique designs, and they continue to grow and to satisfy the person getting the tattoo. Before getting a tattoo always do your homework to find the tattoo that you want. If you like long thick symmetrical designs, tribal tattoos are perfect for you.

Egyptian Symbol Tattoos

Egyptian Symbol Tattoos

Egyptian symbol tattoos are fast becoming a popular choice for people today. I guess the reason being for this is because Egyptian symbols look very cool and not only that have meanings that create more than just an attractive tattoo. Common Egyptian symbols represent protection, wealth, the underworld and gods (who also have their specific meanings), and I will list some now and what they mean.

Style tattoo on his back

This tattoo is a good thematic blend of the two previous - here, the shoulder area appears cut away to reveal underlying mechanical works.

From a visual standpoint, steampunk-inspired tattoos seem almost obvious. When skin is the canvas, it isn’t a stretch to envision what lies beneath. Imagining something greater than reality is, artistically, the next logical step. Steampunk tattoos have such great potential that it is only the genre’s relative obscurity that makes them as uncommon as they are.

Horitomo
Senior Apprentice of Horiyoshi III
New Blood
by Horitaka

For almost ten years, Kazuaki Kitamura was well known in the international tattoo community as "Washo." As Washo, he was at the forefront of a new breed of Japanese tattooer, challenging traditions and bringing the Western style to Japan. Now, Washo carries the name Horitomo and for the past several years has been an apprentice of Horiyoshi III. He made this move in order to further develop his art by studying the traditions of the past.

While his first recollections of tattoos, traditional style body suits seen on neighborhood people, go back to elementary school, it was the Western style that first led him into the world of tattooing. His interest in surfing exposed him to other surfers with "one-point" tattoos. He ended up getting tattooed by Sabado in the fall of 1992 after being introduced by a friend. From that point on, their relation quickly grew and he became Sabado's first apprentice. Eccentric Tattoo had just opened up in Nagoya, very close to his hometown. Kazuaki ended up staying at Eccentric for three and a half years, where he gained his foundation and entry into the tattoo world. Sabado also gave him the name Washo, a title he would use for almost ten years. Needless to say, Kazuaki was very fortunate to be taught by Sabado, a world renowned legend in modern Japanese tattooing.

Struck by wanderlust, Kazuaki traveled for the next year and a half. Convention work had introduced him to many foreign artists and he ended up working at Everlasting in San Francisco for three months. This was right before Aaron Cain left and he was able to work with him as well as Mike Davis, Patrick Conlon and Troy Denning. Following this he helped establish Scratch Addiction in Tokyo and then Three Tides Tattoo in Osaka. Both of these shops became channels for the many Western tattooers wanting to visit and work in Japan.

Aztec Tattoos

Aztec tattoos truly represent the culture and society of the Aztec people who held dominance of modern day Mexico in between the thirteenth and fifteenth centuries. It was common for the Aztec people to don the very same tattoo designs we often see today, most commonly the calendar wheel which has been a source of fascination for centuries among all cultures.

Enjoy this great picture gallery of amazingly intricate Aztec tattoos.

Flower On Foot Tattoo For Girl

Some of the best tattoos for girls are the ones that are all about trends. From Japanese prints to Betty Boop and barbed-wire armbands, the motives for girl's tattoos are as varied as the girls themselves. The most popular tattoos for girls are the ones that say something about the respective female and that will have the most thought and the feeling behind each and every one.

Wednesday, July 14, 2010

In the past years, it’s been noticed that girl tats have grown to be fashionable. An increasing number of female celebrates wearing their tats publicly could possibly have helped lift the social blockage for girls with tattoos. On the other hand, getting a girl tattoo is actually a choice that needs to be made very carefully, specifically for a girl or a young woman. A girl tattoo will stay with you permanently or at least very many years.And it’s complicated and painful to get it removed.

Tattoo girls

Almost everything starts with choosing where on the body the girl tattoo should go. An extremely typical position for girls to have their 1st tattoo may be the lower back but shoulder blade, bum or arms may also be well-accepted. Think about that you’ll not stay young permanently and that your skin will change as we grow older and so might determine the tattoo. Just before seriously getting into it, you might possibly desire to begin with a position on your body which is uncomplicated to hide. Not every manager or client is receptive, minded and liberal and might be genuinely offended by your tats.

Tattoo girls
Girl tats may be well known, however we still do not actually know much about how it is gonna be done, if it hurts, which kind of colours will be chosen, how the pores and skin may react to it etc. It will absolutely be too late to consider most of those issues when you are sitting in a tattoo studio room and someone is by now drawing on your skin. So the perfect thing to do is to collect as much info as you can just before you take the final action. Require other young girls exactly how they got their tats, how they selected the artwork, etc.
